16 miles & Oktoberfest

This weekend’s long run consisted of 16 miles over Boreas Pass in Breckenridge.IMG_3346[1]

It was entirely uphill for 8 miles and then we turned around and headed down.IMG_3345[1]IMG_3347[1]

We started at around 9,500 feet and climbed to 11,500…needless to say…tough. IMG_3348[1]

Joe and I both had some knee pain the entire run and I’m hoping it’s just a little IT tightness. Getting a massage on Tuesday, so hopefully that will help a bit.

After the run, we headed into town for our 2nd annual Breckenridge Oktoberfest! IMG_3351[1]IMG_3350[1]

We had a bunch of friends there and it was a really good time. Plus, I got to have the salmon sandwich I have been dreaming about since last time!IMG_3352[1]IMG_3353[1]

After a couple hours, we headed back to Denver and showered up to go to a climbing film premier. IMG_3356[1]

I got Joe these tickets for his b-day and we have been looking forward to this film for a while. IMG_3357[1]

It was incredible and so inspiring!!  Sunday was spent running errands, but I will leave you with a ridiculous picture of me 😉IMG_3361[1]
