Season opener

Happy Monday! 4 more days with kids this week, 1 day without them and then it’s 2 weeks of vacation.  Joe and I had a great weekend – starting with homemade naan pizza on Friday night.

Saturday was spent snowboarding at Keystone. Great first day of the season!

After snowboarding we went to The Dillon Dam Brewery – always good food and delicious beer 🙂IMG_1542[1]

We took it easy Saturday night and headed to brunch first thing on Sunday morning. IMG_1541[1]

Then, it was off to Evergreen to get a Christmas tree and do a little shopping.  Our tree came with a complimentary shot of peppermint schnapps! haha! IMG_1539[1]

We decided ice skating was a good idea…until I fell and smashed my elbow!IMG_1540[1]

Dinner was compliments of crock-pot Sunday! Love coming home to a warm meal already made! This turned into turkey burrito/taco things…quite good! IMG_1508[1]IMG_1538[1]

After dinner we got to work decorating the tree – it’s really feeling like Christmas now 🙂IMG_1532[1]How was your weekend?  When was the last time you went ice skating?

  1. Yay! So glad you finally got your tree!! And peppermint schnapps sounds like the icing on the cake!

  2. I love ice skating! Go all the time!

  3. Love that they give you a free shot with your tree purchase! I’m glad you reminded me about naan pizza, I used to make it all the time and somehow forgot all about it. Its really good grilled!

  4. I LOVE using naan to make pizzas! They are the perfect size and it makes it super easy to make a “personal” pizza.

  5. Oh my gosh, that ice skating looks so awesome. You guys were busy this weekend, hope your elbow feels better!

  6. Dillon Dam Brewery is a MUST for us every time we are out there! We never miss it! We also are sure never to miss Arapahoe Cafe–best granola pancakes i have EVER HAD.
Keystone will always hold a dear place in my heart! love love it!
Sounds like you had a great weekend 🙂

  7. Your homemade pizza looks awesome. I love going ice skating in the winter months. I think the last time I went was a couple years ago with my little sib. So fun!

  8. I wish I could ski or ice skate, but sadly I’m not very good at either!
