WIAW + Workouts #57

Hello and happy Wednesday! Big thanks to Jenn from Peas and Crayons for hosting What I Ate Wednesday!

Peas and Crayons

Breakfast: ย toast w/ avocado & hard boiled eggIMG_0642[1]

Lunch: salad – quinoa, mushrooms, carrots, tomatoes, raisins, picklesIMG_0706[1]

Dinner: sweet potato with cheese & black beansIMG_0721[1]

Snacks: there were other snacks, but I failed to take pics this week!IMG_0700[1]

Workouts: things are still a work in progress with this injury situation. It’s feeling a little better the last couple days so I would like to try some elliptical…but not sure how it’s going to go!

  • sunday – rest
  • monday – yoga
  • tuesday – rest
  • wednesday – 30 min elliptical + arms + abs
  • thursday – bike (maybe!) + yoga
  • friday – 30 min elliptical + yoga
  • saturday – bike (maybe!) + yoga

  1. Sending manyyyy prayers your way that your injury continues to heal as the days go on. It’s so wonderful that you’ve been showing improvements his far. Woo hoo!!!

  2. Hope you feel great on the bike! That will be awesome to crosstrain on if your back/hip allow it!
    Fave breakfast is usually a simple bowl (ok MULTIPLE simple bowls) of Kashi and almond milk… or an english muffin with crunchy peanutbutter. Oh and more apples than is good for you. That is my favorite breakfast!

  3. I am a total sweet breakfast eater but yours totally appealed to me today – maybe for lunch lol. Even when I think I want eggs or something else for breakfast I wake up wanting sweet.

  4. Your breakfast sounds awesome! I’m much more a savory person than a sweets person in the morning. ๐Ÿ™‚
    Elliptical isn’t too bad, just bring some entertainment. ๐Ÿ™‚ You’ll work up a great sweat!

    I love egg and avocado in the morning. Sometimes I’ll mix it with some bacon or chicken sausage. Yummmmmm. I usually have eggs with some sort of meat and veggies. Today I made a smoothie ๐Ÿ™‚ I think I’m doing 6 miles today along with biceps and back, and spin in the morning (I think).

  10. Those cherries look fantastic. Like Alex I haven’t had any this year, but I know we have some at home so maybe at least I’ll bake something up with them! If you need any inspiration I’m pretty sure Michelle at Peachy Palate just posted a gorgeous cherry baked oatmeal today and seriously- she has GOBS of amazing cherry dishes on her recipage. ๐Ÿ™‚
