WIAW + Workouts #56

Good morning and happy Wednesday! It’s the time of the week to link up with Jenn from Peas and Crayons and share our healthy eats from Wednesday Tuesday.

Peas and Crayons

I am back at work, so my meals are going to start looking a lot like they did last school year πŸ™‚ Although I am going to try to mix it up a little bit more this year.Β Let’s jump right in! I have cut back on what I am eating a little bit because my physical activity is pretty much on hold right now 😦

Workouts:  You will notice there is no running on the schedule; I will explain more about this tomorrow. Not happy 😦

  • sunday – rest
  • monday – rest
  • tuesday – yoga
  • wednesday – rest
  • thursday – 15 mile bike (maybe) + abs
  • friday – yoga
  • saturday – 15 mile bike (maybe) + abs

    I'd say adding quinoa to my omelet was new & interesting… but DELICIOUS!

  2. Really interested in the muller yogurt, I’ve seen the commercials on tv a few times but haven’t found them in stores yet.

    • LESLEE! BUY IT! Buy the Mueller! They have become my favorite in the past 2 weeks! Get the light blue top ones – lower fat 2% milk and try the blackberry raspberry – so good!!

    • You should definitely try them..I like to mix it up with the Chobani every now and then πŸ™‚

  3. Girl I am praying for your hip/back!! Looks like lots of rest and yoga on their for your week which will rest you up hopefully!!
    That dinner looks amazing… I love anything on a stick! Something about it makes it taste so much better…!
    Nothing new eating for me.. but I am eating MORE, so i guess that is interesting and new! I did make my dad a killer egg sandwhich for breakfast this morning which he RAVED about! It was fun to do something nice for him before work πŸ™‚

  4. Your eats, per usual, look wonderful! πŸ™‚ Salads are such a great lunch to pack and take to work – that’s what I do every day! πŸ™‚
    Aw, girly, I am so sorry to hear no running right now… I know how tough it is to stop… I hope that whatever you explain tomorrow is something that can be remedied easily… :/

  5. ugh, I have been thinking about you regarding your running and possible need to take a break…I hope you are healing/feeling alittle bit better…so frustrating and I so get the changing the eating while the exercise is cut back. hang in there!

  6. Hang in there sweets…you are doing the right thing. Cross training sure does help mentally with not being able to run. I also hear pool running is great! Do you still do a lot of swimming?

    • I don’t really do any swimming anymore because I don’t have a good pool or lake for it 😦
      I am hoping to be able to start biking/elliptical again soon, but even that is really painful right now.

  7. Hang in there like everyone said, sometimes rest is what will get you back at it sooner rather than later

  9. Hope everything is okay! No fun when you can’t do something you love 😦 I’m sort of going through that right now as I’m being forced to slow down with my fitness. I can’t stand not being able to workout!
