WIAW + Workouts #55

It’s my last Wednesday of summer vacation 😦 How sad is that? I knew this summer was going to go fast, but man…it really flew by! Let’s jump into WIAW hosted by Jenn over at PeasandCrayons.

Peas and Crayons

Breakfast: protein smoothie – 1/2 banana, coconut milk, raspberries, 1 scoop protein powder               IMG_0625[1]

Lunch: salad – spinach, tomatoes, red pepper, egg, carrots, pickles, raisins, feta, raspberry balsamic viniagrette.IMG_0626[1]

Dinner: vegan pulled pork sandwich w/ cole slaw and jicama chips (thanks for the recipe CleaneatingveggiegirlIMG_0632[1]

Dessert:   IMG_0623[1]

Snacks:IMG_0634[1]IMG_0627[1]

Workouts:

  • sunday – 12 mile run
  • monday – rest
  • tuesday – 3 mile run + yoga
  • wednesday – elliptical + strength workout
  • thursday – 7 mile run
  • friday – yoga
  • saturday – 14 mile run

Protein smoothies…love em or hate em?

    Protein smoothies… Do I even have to answer this question? Ha Ha

    • haha- no you do no!
      Thursday and Saturday’s runs haven’t happened yet and I’m a little worried tomorrows might have to be skipped :(having a bit of a hip situation I am trying to get rid of!) We shall see!

  2. Is that peanut butter that you used to dip the apple in for dessert? Your salad looks awesome- I like all the ingredients thrown into it. My kind of salad 🙂

  4. I am not a smoothie drinker at all and don’t use protein powder in anything…but I am loving your watermelon snack! I need to get some watermelon, last week I bought a sugar baby melon and I was so totally turned off by the abundance of seeds that I stopped eating watermelon ever since.

  5. Look at you 14 miles at the end of the week! This week is a cutback for me so I’m ‘just’ doing 12, haha!

  7. All of your food looks amazing! Reminds me I need to pick up some egg white protein powder asap! Also, I’m jealous of your 12 miles. I need to do at least 10 on Sunday so I know I can make it through my half in 3 weeks. Yikes. I’ll just channel you while I’m dying on my run so I can make it through 🙂

    • Oh- you totally got that 10 miles! I will send you good thoughts as well! Go get some protein powder so you can replenish with a good smoothie after that long run too!
