Peas and Crayons

My mom just left late last night, and we had 5 days of delicious meals, so I thought I would show you those today instead of just one full Tuesday of eats. So, here you go – What I Ate Wednesday Friday-Tuesday. Thanks as always to Jenn!! Amazing food-cation, right? haha….now onto the workouts!

Workouts: taking things much easier this week after Saturday’s race. Marathon training starts Monday, so this is a somewhat of a recovery week.

  • sunday – rest
  • monday – rest (2 in a row!! what?!)
  • tuesday – hiking + biking
  • wednesday – 4 mile run
  • thursday – 4 mile run
  • friday – yoga
  • saturday -hiking

  1. Well I’d say y’all have been eating pretty darn well these past couple days! Is that a cinnamon bun or pancake in the above photo? Whatever it is, it looks friggen awesome!

  3. Um, I’m super jealous of all of that. I’ve been back to my normal diet lately (mostly Paleo). Is it bad that it’s because Meghan, Mollie, and I are going on a cruise soon and I want to be able to eat pizza every night at 3am? Gotta be strict now so I can eat crap in 3 weeks, haha. I’m starting to train for a half marathon – it’ll be my second!

    I like your workout schedule! I love seeing people find a healthy balance between hard-core cardio and just getting out and being active. Good for you!

    • Thanks! This week is definitely a step back since it’s the one week I have between training for things.
      I am definitely the opposite of a gym rat- if I can just be outside doing something active, I am happy πŸ™‚
