WIAW + Workouts # 47


How will you be celebrating? I have an 8 mile run on the agenda and luckily the weather should be nice and cool for it 🙂

Let’s jump right into What I Ate Wednesday hosted by Jenn at Peas and Carrots. I think I actually did pretty well with the theme of sensible snacking this time 🙂  a6aea-wiawsensiblesnackingbutton

Breakfast: whole grain cheerios with chocolate soy milk, 1/2 banana, chia seeds    IMG_3068[1]

Lunch: salad w/ spinach, tomato, raisins, pickles, avocado, carrots, chicken (I will explain this soon), Annie’s Honey Mustard dressing.                                               IMG_3066[1]

Snack #2: carrots + hummus + string cheese                                    IMG_3073[1]

Dinner: tuna wrap + broccoli                                                    IMG_3067[1]

Snack #3: apple + pb (eaten too quickly for a picture!)

Snack #4: letter and number crackers (yes, I eat like a first grader 🙂 )IMG_3076[1]


  • sunday – rest
  • monday – 5 mile run + arms
  • tuesday – 20 mile bike ride + abs
  • wednesday – 8 mile run + arms + legs
  • thursday – 10 mile bike ride + 5k run + abs
  • friday -free (birthday) hot yoga!!!
  • saturday – mountain biking!!

  2. Happy Runner’s Day to you too!!! I am so envious of people with bikes (and also astonished at abilities) so good job getting in 20 miles yesterday! 🙂 Also, WOO HOO for your 8 miles today! Get after it!
    Happy early birthday on Friday!!! That’s so wonderful that yoga is free.
    I’m currently trying to figure out how to spend my money with all the race discounts going on today. Decisions are super hard today. Cute WIAW, your tuna wrap looks delish! I love tuna but I rarely eat it.

    • I have really been enjoying biking lately. Our in the fresh air and such a good workout too!
      Ahhh…the race decisions…pick some good ones! Love that you can get discounts today!

  3. yay for Birthday week! I love my Birthday and i hope you get to participate in some more free things for your birthday! I’m so excited it’s running day lol I’m def gonna go on a nice run, I’m convincing my husband to watch J so I can run outside=) I hope you have a great run and continue eating some yummy snacks!
