sadness in boston

It doesn’t feel appropriate to blog as I usually do after the tragedy in Boston yesterday. My heart and thoughts go out to all who are effected by this horrible situation.

I, like many of you, will be uniting to run tonight after work. Unfortunately, I can’t wear a race shirt to work, but I will be wearing Boston Marathon blue and yellow in support.

Stay strong.

  1. I love that image/graphic you posted. When my stepdad first texted me about the bombings, I told him, “you’re about to see just how tough and resilient the running community is.” This is a tragedy, no doubt, but runners, as your graphic states, will continue to push on, as always.

  2. Such a sad, sad day… I still can’t believe it. I just don’t get it.

  3. I’m going to wear a race shirt on my run today. Great inspirational photo, love it!
