Super Saturday & a cold

Saturday was a jam packed day of fun. Joe and I started with a 7 mile trail run in Boulder. The elevation gain for this one was a bit less than last weekend so it wasn’t quite as grueling. Really pretty scenery though 🙂                                 IMG_2642[1]

After the run we went back to the climbing gym and got in several really good climbs. I tried a new flavor of Clif while we were there                                 IMG_2643[1]

– have you had this one? I loved it!  Both of us were exhausted by the end. We were also starving, so we hopped over the Walnut Brewery for a pint and some food. We started with some tapas to split.                                                                                                               IMG_2644[1]

A little while later I had a veggie burger as well, but forgot to take a picture 🙂 Then we had to rush home to get ready for a birthday party for one of Joe’s co-workers. It was right downtown, so nice and quick to walk to.  IMG_2645[1]IMG_2646[1]lish & sabineWhen things started to get weird, we decided to head back home. haha IMG_2648[1]

Joe and I had planned to get up early and head to A-basin for some spring snowboarding on Sunday, but I woke up with a horrible cold and just feeling all around icky. So…we called it off and spent most of the day on the couch watching movies. We did run a few errands: one of which was checking out some jeeps at the dealership (Joe is in the market for a new wrangler 🙂 ).   IMG_2650[1]

All in all it was a good weekend, but I am pretty bummed about yesterdays plans falling through. Ah well…clearly I needed a day of rest! I am feeling a bit better today, but probably going to take it easy in the workout department until I kick this pesky cold!

How was your weekend? What did you do?
