WIAW + Workouts # 34

Peas and Crayons

This will be the last WIAW of February and I have been LOVING this months theme. So, I made sure yesterday’s eats were jam packed with veggies 🙂 Thanks to Jenn at peas and crayons for organizing. Let’s jump right in!

Breakfast: naked juice + coffee                                                       IMG_2395[1]

Lunch: salad: spinach, mushroom, peas, corn, tomatoes, veggie sausage, avocado, nutritional yeast, chia seeds                                    IMG_2389[1]

Dinner: roasted red pepper soup with seitan, mushroom, peas, corn, macaroni noodles. Crumbled blue cheese and tortilla chips on top 🙂                       IMG_2390[1]

Dessert: FRO-YO!!                                                                     IMG_2393[1]

**there were many snacks throughout the day that I forgot to take pictures of**

Workouts:

  • sunday – snowboarding
  • monday – 6 mile run + abs
  • tuesday – 3 mile run
  • wednesday – rest
  • thursday – yoga
  • friday – 8 mile run + abs
  • saturday – snowboarding

Here’s the Tribesports Challenges I have been doing lately:

20120516002732-do-20-chair-dips-a-day-for-7-days   20 chair dips everyday for 7 days

20120109075405-side-plank-30-seconds-each-side-everyday-for-7-day side plank 30 seconds every day for 7 days

Do you eat pretty much the same things everyday, or do you like to constantly switch it up?

  1. Red pepper soup is always a winner:)

  2. I did some ab work today after teaching my class! And now I want frozen yogurt 🙂

  3. Jealous of all the WIAW froyos I’ve seen today 😉 Yummy!

  4. SNOWBOARDING???? Jealous! And that fro-yo looks great 🙂

  5. Yay for soup!

And I’m so jealous that you got to go snowboarding. Well, I would have been blading or skiing… Still. I haven’t done that in forever! 🙂

    • I do feel really lucky to live right next to the mountains and can go every weekend. I’m going to be bummed when the snow is gone…but then there’s rock climbing 🙂

  6. Your dinner looks incredible! I love side planks, thanks to yoga 😉

  7. I like to switch things up but honestly it doesn’t always work 🙂 I’m looking forward to froyo tonight!

  8. Ahhh… I’ve been craving froyo all week! I think I’m going to have to break down and get some this weekend. I’d say I switch up my eats between a few main things. So I guess I’m a creature of habit 🙂
