WIAW + Workouts #31

Happy Wednesday everyone! I thought I was totally out being sick, but I have come down with a bit of a cold now. There’s just SO MANY GERMS around me all day! haha. Anyway, the workouts have taken a bit of a dip because of it, but hopefully I can kick this thing quickly and be back in action.

Peas and Crayons

Breakfast: mixed berry Greek yogurt + granola bar                           IMG_2296[1]               

Lunch: hummus, cheese, pickle, tomato, spinach sandwich

Snacks: Really bad about taking pictures, but there was goldfish, an applesauce, some red peppers, and other things I can’t remember! 🙂


  • sunday – snowboarding
  • monday – rest (sick) 😦
  • tuesday – rest (sick) 😦
  • wednesday – 4 mile run (hopefully)
  • thursday – yoga
  • friday – 4 mile run
  • saturday – 6 mile run + yoga

A couple new Tribesports Challenges I am trying this week:

20110802081637-hold-the-plank-pose-for-2-minutes-everyday-for-7-d Hold the plank pose for 2 minutes each day for 7 days.

20110801175321-10-push-ups-a-day-for-7-days 10 push ups a day for 7 days

My plan is to combine the two and do the push ups immediately after planking!

  1. I hope you get better fast! I just bought Black Elderberry Syrup. My parents told me to buy it and take it every day so I won’t get sick. Maybe it can help with the kid germs?

  2. The sandwich looks good. I need to get humus to add to my sandwiches!

  3. I’m totally craving one of those oats and honey bars now. Those are the 2 pack, super hard granola bars, right? Like a generic brand of Nature Valley? Love those things.

  4. Oh I like the plank/pushup challenges! You have inspired me to do some pushups tonite 🙂

    I like the idea of a hummus/cheese/pickle sandwich. I think we speak the same food lango.

    I don’t think I saw the push up challenge on tribesports. Ill have to look into that one 🙂
