Hello friends! I’ve been away from the blog for a few days – my mom was visiting and holiday time gets very busy!! I hope you all had a lovely Christmas and celebrated with friends and family. Since it’s Wednesday, it’s time to link up with Jenn over at PeasandCrayons for a look at what we’re eating.

What I Ate Wednesday Healthy Holiday Recipes

I didn’t take too many pictures of food over the holidays, but here’s a look at some of the things I ate over the last couple days πŸ™‚

Other than hot yoga last Thursday, I have been snowboarding a ton. We got to the mountains Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday! Best workout ever πŸ™‚ Pictures from, Breckenridge, A Basin, and Beaver Creek.

As for the week ahead – it’s going to look a little something like this:

  • wednesday – 4 mile run
  • thursday – 8 mile run
  • friday – yoga + 45 min. elliptical
  • saturday – snowboarding
  • sunday – snow-shoe adventure πŸ™‚
  • monday – yoga or rest
  • tuesday – yoga + 5 mile run

  2. I’ve been following my sister’s running plan (she runs for her college) and so we did a long run on Saturday, walk/golf on Sunday (that was a long walk!) and then big run on Monday and Tuesday. We are in the mountains now so I’ll sub in some skiing and cross-country skiing πŸ™‚

  3. I am a word that starts with J, ends with S, and has 7 letters. GIRL…those mountains look nice!!! You guys must be wondering how you didn’t move out there sooner, lol. It defintely seems like your place! That cheesecake looks freaking cute! πŸ™‚ Luckily I was able to run while i was out of town…which was good for my training, all the crap I ate, and for my sanity, lol. πŸ˜‰

    • Yes, we are so happy to finally be out here! But, I do have my moments of missing NYC and the east coast. Glad you were able to get in lots of running over the holidays! I still seem to be consuming a fair amount of cookies…haha
