Oh Christmas Tree! …and 3 delicious meals

That’s right folks…Joe and I finally got around to decorating our tree and I have to say, I love it!!

just ignore the atrocious electrical box on the wall

The coolest part is the train set Joe brought from his parents house- we haven’t had this around our tree the last couple years because there was just no room in our tiny Manhattan apartment. It’s so cool and I can’t stop playing with it!

It was a snowy snowy weekend here in Colorado, so can you guess what Joe and I did? That’s right- head to the mountains!!! IMG_1959[1]

We had a really great day of riding at Keystone again and when we were officially exhausted we left the mountain and searched for food. We ended up stopping in the town of Dillon at a really cool Brewery: The Dillon Dam Brewery.

I had a really good portobello sandwich and a couple pale ales. YUM!

Joe and I headed home to shower and get ready for a visit from his friend Chris. We hit a couple bars in the neighborhood and definitely stayed out too late, but had a lot of fun!

have you ever heard of this game? interesting twist on trivia.

Sunday was spent grocery shopping, running errands, and a delicious shrimp pad thai lunch at Kona Grill.

We wrapped up the weekend with a lazy night on the couch and home-made pizza 🙂

  1. Sounds like an awesome weekend. Glad you got some riding in and your tree looks super cute. Rich and I have only had a tree 1 year because we are never home for the holidays (and we both prefer Thanksgiving, lol). He says everyday that he wants to move to CO so I don’t know what’s going on, haha. Our weekend was pretty good. I had a couple of great runs and we did random things on Saturday together which was nice as he spent most of yesterday working…lame. Have a great week girl. 🙂

    • haha- I love that Rich wants to move to CO 🙂 I think you guys totally should- then we could run together! I saw your awesome runs on instagram- color me super impressed (as always)!! Glad you and Rich got some good together time too- that’s the best!
