I guess that’s that…

Well, I don’t have a lot to say. We all know what’s happened and yes, I am very upset. I don’t really want to talk about it because it’s been talked to death.

I want to express however, that I do believe it was the right decision and I am so glad that the resources are being distributed to those in need. It’s a case of incredibly bad timing and it is what it is.

I am not going to throw a pity party- I am very thankful that my friends and family are safe and well. And, my deepest sympathy goes out to those who were effected by the storm.

Joe and I went to the expo yesterday right as they were announcing the decision. We picked up our shirts and browsed the booths a bit, but it was pretty depressing in there, so we left pretty quickly.

the race that will never be run 😦

My mom got in early this morning, so I am super happy about that!! She figured she would come anyway and spend the weekend and I am glad she did so I don’t sit around and pout!

I hope you all have a great weekend and if you were running NYC as well- I am so sorry…fingers crossed for guaranteed entry next year (rumored, but no official announcement yet)….we will crush it next year, Catie!

  1. I went to the expo today and it was so sad. I just walked around not knowing what to do with myself.
We just have to stay positive though, right?! Next year is ours! We got this! 🙂

  2. I heard about this yesterday.. I’m so sorry! Fingers crossed they give you guys the early entry 🙂

  3. I hope you get the guaranteed entry and its unfortunate they waited til the 11th hour to cancel it. Thinking of you and hope you do another marathon!

  4. I heard that all of you are guaranteed, but there will still be a fee. I’m so sorry to hear about it being cancelled girl, but you truly do have a positive outlook on it. Just think, you have another year to train even harder 🙂 🙂
